Join the New Offspring Facebook Group

As a parent, you could use some backup—smart ideas, time-saving tricks and totally non-judgmental support from fellow moms and dads who are right there with you in the trenches. That’s why we’ve just launched Offspring: A Lifehacker Parenting Group on Facebook.

It’s a group for all of you (yes, even you, valiant parent who just told your child that the ice cream truck plays music when it’s all out of ice cream—especially you). A place to discuss everything from picky eating to drug use—from social media etiquette to the great mystery of why Daniel Tiger does not wear daytime pants. Ask questions, get answers, and sing praises for the weird parenting thing you just tried that somehow, miraculously, worked.

The group will be moderated by myself and other Lifehacker editors, who’ll help create content and lead conversations. We’re excited to get to know you better, and have some fun while doing it.

But wait! If you do join, you’ll be eligible to win a 12-month subscription to KiwiCo, which sends your child a monthly crate of STEM and art projects. It’s a $205 value, and there are options for kids ages 0-16+. All you have to do is comment on the first post in the Facebook group, and tell us your best parenting hack. We’ll pick our favorite and send the winner a gift card to KiwiCo.

Full contest rules here. This contest is not sponsored, administered, endorsed, or associated with Facebook.

We hope to see you in the group!
